...into everyday life here. Avery enjoys trying on her many hats to help keep the bright Kenyan sun off her. Also, she looooves playing on the stairs with Daddy!

Avery has been giving us a hard time lately with solid food. She isn't a fan of finger food either so it was a surprise today when she wouldn't eat and I tried to let her feed herself. She loved it as you can see. She also is getting over her fear of the new tub here and did okay with her bath afterwards! Notice all her hair!

Our precious Avery is still enjoying playing with light switches, though they look a little bit different over here :)

Avery is moving faster every day and is finding new things to get into. Her new favorite hang out is under the table/dad's desk!

back to "normal"

Though we are an ocean away life is getting back into a normal rhythm... Dad's back with his computer set up, tons of footlockers to play with and cruise along, parents still adoring Avery's every move, and taking way too many pictures of her!

And it begins...

After many months of planning we set off on our family's adventures in Africa! Here is a glimpse into our long journey to get here.
