Six month update

Avery is growing so fast! We went for her six month check up and shots last week and she handled it like a pro! She is now 13 pounds 13 ounces (13 percentile) and 26 inches (71 percentile) which only proves even more that she is a Martyn! :)

Cuter every day

Here are just a few pics of our precious Avery. It gives you a glimpse into a normal day in her life, trying out new sounds, trying new foods, playing hard and pretty much always smiling!

Zoo-tastic!

Dad planned out a surprise trip for us to go to the Dallas zoo! Avery even got in her first DART ride :)

Visit to Aunt Allison's

We were also able to visit Aunt Allison! Avery had a great time bonding with her way cool Aunt!

She's a traveling baby!

Avery is in the running for the most well traveled baby. She has been great on our many car trips and was wonderful on her first flights! On her six month birthday she took her first flight and luckily for mom slept for most of it! Here are some pics of our helpful Avery. She helped mom pack and helped dad drive on our most recent trip to Wisconsin.

Happy first 4th of July!

Avery and mom went to a nearby pool with some friends to celebrate her first 4th of July! (Dad was in Wisconsin, more on that in a bit) Her outfit was a bit big but still cute :)

Happy 6 months Avery!

A few days early but I wanted make sure to celebrate Avery being with us for half a year with a look back through pictures. Hard to believe how fast time has flown by while we sat mesmerized by her!

Bounce, bounce baby!

Sitting up too!

She is growing up so fast! Here are some pics of her newly acquired skill of sitting up on her own. Today, while trying to clean up, I set her on the bed and just happened to sit her up and to my surprise she stayed there! P.S. She is wearing a 6 month size onesie in these pics!

Feed Me!!!

How can it be that our little girl is almost six months! Seems like just overnight she has developed a strong interest in our food. On June 29 we tried again to see if she would eat cereal and to our surprise she did! July 1 she had her first real food, avocado!
