We had a great time at Avery's first birthday party! Here are a few shots of her party. We celebrated at the SIM Kenya compound that had a bit more green space than ours. We were even able to find cute girly first birthday party cups, plates and a banner!

joy and immense elation!!! I have been checking this site, Al, every day and so sad that there havn't been updates - i was stuck on dec 31st. Lauren alerted me to new pics, and I figured out my link was stuck in 2008 archives, and I was SO excited to see all of these posts! yipee!
All of those people at Av's b'day party - she must have felt so special!!! How is she doing with all of the strangers?
